Welcome back to all my followers, It’s been over 5 years since my Millerfoto page has been active. A lot has happened in this time both exciting and some disheartening from building a brand new home with hubby Craig, becoming foster parents to cats and kittens, adopting 2 more cats and an old dog to complete our family, to my Dad passing away suddenly in 2016, to also losing my love and passion for photography during this time.

Fast forward to 2020, most of you who know me personally, know I’m still filling my house with foster cats and kittens which I have spent countless hours volunteering my time at Townsville Foster and Rehoming Animals photographing animals photos for their adoption profiles to help find them forever homes. It’s taken a while, but my passion and love for photography is back and I’m excited to start sharing it with you all again. Looking back through my Facebook page today I had a chuckle and thought, maybe I should just delete everything off the page and start again, the quality and style of my photography was a whole lot different to what it is today, but I decided, no I will leave it. The past is always important for anyone to see how they have grown, as a professional as well as a person.

I first created Millerfoto in 2010 at the age of 18, not long moved to Townsville from Tully recently completing a Diploma in Photography with big hopes and dreams of making a name for myself. While I am happy with what I achieved in those early years for someone so young, at the end of this month, I will be entering the last year of my 20’s and can’t wait to see where this new burning desire to succeed in photography takes me.

I have just celebrated 10 years service in my full time job last month and will be continuing to work full time for the foreseeable future so I will still have limited available for my photography clients, but will endeavour to be as accommodating as I possibly can for any clients. While I don’t wish to stick to one speciality in photography at present, the love I have for animals and the last 5 years of my photography client base having 4 legs and a tail, I can’t help but say the core of Millerfoto moving forward will be pets and family portraiture however will be open to all photography services required.I am already excited at the few bookings coming up for the end of 2020 and 2021.

I will be reviewing my pricing in the coming weeks along with setting up my website and instagram, updating my Facebook page and sharing some of the work I have done in recent years, so I thank you for your continued support and hope to see you continue following everything Millerfoto.

For all photography service enquiries, please send a message through my page or email hayley@millerfoto.com.au

Thank you, Hayley.
